Stage One Classes

TakingTheStageClass

TAKING THE STAGE

A beginning acting class that will introduce the new student and reinforce stage skills for those students who have been in theatrical productions. Building a skill set is difficult during a rehearsal setting. This class is designed to focus and enhance the young actor's tool box for working on stage. Students are given individual time and preparation for scene work that will improve timing, diction, delivery, body language, facial expression, eye contact and action vs reaction. A great way to "take the stage" whether you have never set foot on one or you are destined to be on Broadway.

SongandDanceUndertheSea

SONG AND DANCE - UNDER THE SEA

Learning the basic dance steps and technique, is the main focus for this Stage 1 class. Everyone can dance and too many times students think they can't. This class will prepare them and instill the confidence they need to join any musical theatre production or audition. And it's FUN! Working as an ensemble, students learn to move together as a chorus. Using familiar Broadway songs from Little Mermaid will provide the backdrop for this musical theatre dance experience.

JungleBookproduction

JUNGLE BOOK
Stage 1 Theatre Production for ages 8 - 12

An extraordinary musical adventure with Mowgli, a boy raised by wolves and his friends Baloo, the bear and Bagheera, the panther. Learning about jungle law, Mowgli finds it difficult to judge hilarious coconut tossing monkeys and the hooded cobra, Hiss, who guards the treasure vault. The jungle is also the home of Shere Khan, the dangerous man-eating tiger who is determined to destroy the man-cub, Mowgli.
